With the holidays fast approaching, it’s not uncommon for the Alzheimer Society to see an increase in phone calls.
Support Program Manager, Denise Driver, says there are many reasons why someone might be concerned about a loved one at this time of year.
Driver adds people often notice more signs of dementia when they haven’t seen their loved ones in awhile.
If you are concerned about a loved one, you’re encouraged to contact the Alzheimer Society of Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland & Haliburton at 705-748-5131.
