You are being reminded clocks will fall back an hour this weekend.
With the time change slated for 2 a.m. Sunday, Peterborough Fire Services wants everyone to check their smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
Chief Chris Snetsinger says check the expiry date and test every alarm – and also be sure to change the batteries if you do not have a wired or 10-year battery sealed alarm.
Snetsinger adds to survive a fire, you need to have an early warning and know what to do when the alarms sound.
