We’ve been reporting a lot this week about damage being done to vehicles and now we know about at least one arrest related to an incident.
Peterborough Police say a 37-year-old man from Kawartha Lakes has been charged after allegedly taking items from a vehicle that had one window smashed in the McDonnel and Stewart area early Thursday morning.
One man was taken into custody while the second man fled on foot. K9 Gryphon was called in to complete a track, but the second suspect was not located.
As a result of the investigation, the accused was charged with:
-Theft Under $5000
-Mischief Under $5,000
He is scheduled to appear in court on November 8th.
