Two people have died in two separate crashes in Peterborough County on Saturday night.
The first took place on County Road 507, when a vehicle was travelling southbound on County Road 507 north of County Road 36 when it left the roadway and went into the ditch.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
County Road 507 will be closed for several hours while members trained in collision reconstruction measure and document the scene. For road closure information regarding this incident, or any other traffic related events please check Twitter @OPP_COMM_CR for ongoing updates.
The other crash took place on the 10th Line in Douro-Dummer about 15 minutes after the first crash.
Police say a vehicle with two people inside was found in the ditch. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
10th Line is also closed to traffic while they investigate the cause of this crash.
