As the host city of Shorelines Casino, Peterborough has received a quarterly payment of close to $720,000 from Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
The money is OLG’s compensation for the period of April 1st to June 30th.
These payments to host communities are based on a formula consistently applied across all gaming sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
Since the casino opened 4 years ago Peterborough has received more than $7 million in host fees.
