Peterborough has hired a professional recruiter to bring new physicians to the community.
The city’s Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee Chair, Mike VandenBroek, says one of the many challenges the city faces – is the changing
demographics in the local medical field.
VandenBroek says a successful physician recruitment campaign taps into the professional and emotional aspects of where a doctor opens a practice.
He says newly hired recruiter Kevin Kirkpatrick will work closely with the committee to position Peterborough & the Kawarthas as an ideal destination to practise family medicine.
