Charges have been laid against a 38-year-old man after an incident at the Peterborough Police station.
On Wednesday night, officers were made aware of a suspicious man wandering in the parking lot of the station. Upon arrival officers learned the man was wanted on a warrant and took the man into custody without incident. During the arrest officers located a knife on the accused.
The accused is charged with:
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
He will appear in court on July 19th.
