The Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival is back in-person this weekend for the first time since 2019, and lots of supporters and excited.
Executive Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communications with Kawartha Credit Union Crystal Dayman says this event is important to their organization.
Dayman says this fundraiser specifically is one that always hits home for the employees of KCU.
She says Kawartha Credit Union has entered three boats in Saturday’s races.
The festival is still looking for volunteers to help with race-day activities. Anyone 14-years or older, or students collecting community service hours, can fill out an application here.
