Greg Dempsey spoke about senior care last night alongside Dr. Jennifer Ingram.
Dr. Ingram said the idea of changing long-term care and how it looks in the community, making smaller long-term care facilities and ensuring that the system of care in the community is one that’s integrated will be a revolutionary step.
This Liberal plan promises a home-care guarantee that estimates 400,000 more seniors would have access to home care in the next four years and would boost total base funding for the system by $2 billion by 2026 through 10 per cent annual increases.
