If you’re looking to make a living out of your own car, a couple of upcoming hiring fairs may be for you.
Y Drive is announcing a hiring fair happening February 19th and 26th, as they’re looking to hire 35 new rideshare drivers and 65 food delivery drivers for their new service, Y Drive Eats.
We spoke with Co-owner Rob Davidson, who says it’s a great way to meet as many people as possible.
He says having two car-based businesses is good, as it adds some flexibility for drivers if they’re eligible for both. If not, Davidson says the transition isn’t difficult.
Y Drive says drivers can make as much as $1700 a week right now doing rideshare, while the company completes over 400 rides daily. Their expectation is 500-600 deliveries per day during March with Y Drive Eats.
