Student Transportation Services of Central Ontario says buses have been cancelled throughout the region because of poor road conditions.
This comes after a heavy snowfall overnight, with more expected throughout the day today. STSCO’s jurisdiction includes Peterborough, Northumberland and Clarington areas.
Today also marks the first day back to school for students in Ontario after two weeks of virtual learning because of COVID-19. KPRDSB and PVNC have cancelled school for today.
You’re reminded to give yourself extra time while driving today because of poor road conditions throughout the region. A winter storm warning remains in effect for the region, as we could see up to 35cm of snow by the time it’s all said and done.
