A Peterborough man has been charged with manslaughter in connection to the death of an infant in November 2020.
Peterborough Police say the investigation started after the child was taken to PRHC, before being airlifted to a Toronto hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
A 14-month investigation included detectives, the coroners office, the Centre for Forensic Sciences and the Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Unit at Sick Kid’s Hospital.
The 24-year-old man was arrested yesterday and will appear in court today.
As it’s a domestic incident, the suspect’s name will not be released by police.
