Fleming College paramedics students are celebrating after being given a used ambulance from Peterborough City/County Paramedics.
Second year student Victoria Lombardi says the experience will help students when they graduate.
President Maureen Adamson says it’s crucially important that students leave Fleming ready to join the workforce, and an addition like this will ensure that.
The 2016-model ambulance was surplus after Peterborough County approved the purchase of two new ambulances late last year. Fleming College made a request to Peterborough County-City Paramedics to consider donating an ambulance for use by students and teachers.
