Peterborough Police say a 24-year-old woman has been charged after a reported hit and run last night.
Just before 9:00pm, police were called to the area of Albert and Alfred streets after two 16-year-olds were approached by a woman on Chamberlain Street with a knife, saying she was upset they were on her property before striking at the teens.
Police say the teens took off from the area, but were later hit by a vehicle. One was taken to PRHC.
As a result, 24-year-old Brittany Norrad of Peterborough was charged with assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
She’ll appear in court October 20th.
