What started as a trip to the emergency room for jaundice has turned into a lifelong battle for former MBC reporter Grant Deme.
Grant was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.
After doing some research and getting on some medication Grant decided to fundraise for Canadian Liver Foundation Stroll for Liver virtual event, which was held yesterday.
Deme was diagnosed after going to the ER in January. PSC is a rare progressive liver disease where the bile ducts are inflamed which can cause further issues down the line and only affects 33,000 people in North America.
