Peterborough Public Health wants you to protect yourself against the West Nile virus as much as possible this summer.
Spokesperson Brittany Cadence says it’s once again been detected in the area.
Cadence says there’s ways to prevent mosquitoes from showing up around your property.
During the summer months and early fall, public health sets traps weekly throughout the City and County of Peterborough to test mosquitos.
