If you’re walking around Little Lake, there’ll be a welcome sight at the end of the month.
City council has voted to turn on the Centennial Fountain on May 26th.
The fountain did not run last year partially because of the pandemic as a both as a cost-saving measure, as well as a way of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Also last night, councillors supported a new tree removal bylaw that calls for a permit fee of $150 for removing a healthy tree on private property.
