Local school boards are preparing for the switch to online learning.
Following the announcement yesterday by the province, virtual classrooms will be the norm for the foreseeable future.
Communications Manager with the Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board, Galen Eagle, says this is really the third time they’ve have to shift like this.
Eagle says the board is in a good position to make the changes quickly.
Schools will be reaching out to families who require additional technology support early next week. Peterborough currently has 103 active cases and seven active outbreak, including one at Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School.
