In a recent interview, conducted exclusively with My Broadcasting Corporation, Premier Doug Ford provided the latest COVID-19 vaccination information.
Ford says the delay in vaccine supply makes it even more crucial that everyone follow public health guidelines.
Our interview with Ford also came days after the Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table presentation, saying cases involving variants are on the rise, and that a third shutdown is possible. You can view that presentation here.
This is what the Premier had to say.
This possible shutdown is predicted for the late spring, so we asked if there were any talks about making changes to the postponed March Break.
While this pandemic has made time drag for some and fly for others, today marks one year since the first State of Emergency was declared in Ontario. Ford says it’s been tough for everyone.
Since the timeline of administering a second dose depends on when the first doses are completed, Ford could not make predictions beyond that.
The Premier finished off our interview with a general message to Ontarians as most public health units are lessening restrictions and Spring weather is finally upon us.
As of Monday night, 1,243,132 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Ontario.
