You could certainly say the life of Stacey Sambrook has come full-circle.
Sambrook was a student at St. Anne Catholic Elementary School growing up and now teaches Kindergarten French Immersion there.
She says while learning a new language is tough, she fell in love with French and the opportunities it provides such as going to school in France during her third year of university.
Sambrook believes all good teachers have certain qualities that sets them apart such as effective communication and listening skills and the willingness to be a lifelong learner.
When asked about the last year and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on her students, Sambrook says her biggest takeaway is how resilient and adaptable kids are and she is extremely proud of them.
