Mike Heffernan is being recognized for his work in minor hockey.
Heffernan is the Vice President of the Peterborough Hockey Association, and is being saluted by the Peterborough Petes on the contribution to the planning, organizing and execution of local minor hockey’s return to the play this season.
He is celebrated for continuously supporting all PHA players, parents, and parents on and off the ice.
Each week the Petes will recognize and celebrate one volunteer from the PMHC, PHA, PGHA, and local adaptive hockey organizations who acknowledges that this hockey season has required additional time and effort to ensure a safe return for players to the rink.
