The Ontario 55+ Summer Games might be taking place in Peterborough after all, just a year later than expected.
Yesterday, Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, Lisa MacLeod announced the province would like the event to go in the city in 2021 and pledged $235,000.
The games usually draws around 1400 people for three days of competitions.
