Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board is searching for a trustee for its board after the passing of trustee Shirley Patterson.
The vacancy is for the area of Asphodel-Norwood, Havelock-Belmont-Methuen and Trent Hills and would carry through the the end of the term in 2022.
To be eligible you must be a resident of the jurisdiction, a Canadian citizen and at least 18-years-old.
Chairperson Diane Lloyd says Patterson was an incredibly strong supporter of public education.
