The annual United Way campaign is receiving a huge boost through the generosity of an anonymous donor.
For a third consecutive campaign, new donations of at least $85 will be matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to the donor’s matching gift. In addition, those who increase their existing donation to the campaign will also see the increased amount matched.
Campaign associate Adeline Murphy says all involved with the campaign are thrilled, and grateful, for the anonymous donor’s continued support.
Murphy says since the campaign launched September 17th with a goal of $1.585 million, the focus has been on building early momentum.
Murphy says preparations are underway for campaign-related activities on the horizon.
