Ontario lottery players will have a chance to win a massive jackpot heading into the Thanksgiving long weekend.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Friday’s LOTTO MAX draw will feature an $80 million jackpot, along with millions more in additional prizes.
The October 9th draw will also offer an estimated 14 MAXMILLIONS prizes worth $1 million each and 80 MAXPLUS prizes valued at $100,000 apiece.
With Thanksgiving approaching, OLG is also highlighting how Ontarians say they would share a potential lottery windfall.
According to figures provided by the lottery corporation, 80 per cent of Ontarians say they would donate a portion of their winnings to charity, while 75 per cent would share their prize with someone who gave them the winning ticket.
Since LOTTO MAX launched in 2009, Ontario players have won more than $10 billion, including 125 jackpot wins and 1,008 MAXMILLIONS prizes.
