A 37-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after a window was allegedly smashed at a downtown business.
Peterborough Police were called to the King Street and Bethune Street area at about 9 p.m. on October 4 after receiving a report of a man breaking a business window after he had been refused service.
Officers reviewed video of the incident and identified a suspect, who was located a short distance away and taken into custody.
The man has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.
Police say the accused was already bound by a probation order requiring him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on December 29.
