The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is giving animal lovers a chance to win some cash while supporting animal welfare programs across the province.
The organization’s Fall Draws for Paws 50/50 Lottery is underway, with the first of four $2,000 Early Bird prizes set to be drawn Thursday, October 8.
The lottery will culminate with the Grand Prize draw on November 12, with the jackpot growing as more tickets are sold. The previous Draws for Paws 50/50 winner took home more than $130,000.
Tickets start at $10.
“Every ticket purchased in the Fall Draws for Paws 50/50 Lottery helps create a brighter future for animals across Ontario, while giving you the chance to win a life-changing amount of money,” said Stephanie Miller, Vice President of Development with the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society.
Money raised supports the Ontario SPCA’s Community Access to Resources, Education, and Support Fund, known as the CARES Fund.
The grant program provides financial assistance to SPCAs and humane societies across Ontario for animal welfare initiatives, including veterinary care, spay and neuter programs and improvements to shelters.
Tickets and additional information are available through Ontario SPCA Draws for Paws.
