PTBOToday.ca asked councillor candidates to submit a brief bio, recent photo and short audio-recorded statement to represent their campaign.
I am a lifelong resident of Northcrest Ward. Born and raised in Peterborough, I have proudly called the north end home for more than 30 years. I graduated from Adam Scott Collegiate before earning a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University. For 30 years, I had the privilege of teaching with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. My career in education gave me the opportunity to work with generations of young people and families and provided me with a firsthand understanding of the values that shape our community and the issues that matter to residents—not only in Northcrest, but throughout Peterborough.
