Matt Crowley has represented Monaghan Ward on Peterborough City Council since 2022.
A lifelong Peterborough resident, Matt grew up in Monaghan Ward and has focused his first term on being an accessible and responsive representative for the people he serves.
During his time on Council, Matt has supported major investments in roads, infrastructure, parks and public spaces, while working to attract new jobs and investment, recruit more doctors, increase housing opportunities and improve Peterborough’s long-term planning.
He has also pushed for greater accountability at City Hall, better value for property taxpayers, safer neighbourhoods and continued efforts to strengthen and revitalize the downtown.
Communication has remained a major priority, with Matt regularly keeping residents informed about Council decisions, construction projects and issues affecting their neighbourhoods.
Outside of Council, Matt works in information technology and has experience working on major technology projects, bringing a practical, problem-solving approach to his work at City Hall. He also serves as a Director on the Board of Five Counties Children’s Centre.
Matt is seeking re-election to continue moving Peterborough forward and building a city where people, families and businesses can thrive.
