After giving up the opening goal to the Sarnia Sting, the Petes needed to find some sort of a push back quickly before the wheels came off.
That push back came with the name Adam Novotny who just returned from the Vancouver Canucks training camp, and played his first game of the season with the Petes.
After giving up a goal just a little more than 2 minutes into the game, Novotny helped guide his team with two goals just seconds on the way to a 7-4 win in front of nearly 3000 fans at the Memorial Centre.
