A community celebration in every way is again upon us in the form of the United Way of Peterborough and District’s 2026-27 campaign launch.
Set for this Thursday (September 17), noon, at the Healthy Planet Arena, the event will feature lunch and speakers before concluding with the much-anticipated reveal of the campaign goal.
Among those most looking forward to the celebration is United Way CEO Jason Seguya. Just a few months on the job, it’s his first major public-facing event.
Seguya says launch brings together people from a wide range of sectors and interests, and that alone presents a great opportunity.
Speaking to his United Way team members, Seguya says each is chomping at the bit to get the new campaign rolling towards the attainment of its goal.
