STUFF TO DO
Thursday: The Canadian Canoe Museum presents “On the Map,” a behind-the-scenes look at cartography with cartographer Chris Brackey starting at 6:30 p.m. at the museum.
Friday: The 174th annual Warkworth Fair is back all weekend at the Warkworth Fairgrounds. Come out and enjoy livestock shows, live music, a pie contest and more. Visit the website for a full schedule of fair events.
Saturday: The Buckhorn Community Centre will host its annual Car, Truck & Corvette Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be antique, vintage, classic, collectible, custom and exotic vehicles as well as a BBQ and vendors. Admission is by cash donation at the door.
Saturday: Join the Peterborough Police Service for their Community Open House. Visit with the different units from K9, ERT, Community F.I.R.S.T, MCIT, Bike Patrol and RPAS. Meet the recruitment team and watch motorcycle demonstrations, explore a police cruiser and take part in station tours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
