STUFF TO DO
Wednesday: Discover the art of making natural inks at the free Natural Ink Workshop from 10 a.m. to noon at 2120 E Bank Dr., where attendees will collect materials from the Trent Vegetable Gardens, learn how to make your own inks at home and have a chance to experiment with a variety of colourful natural inks made from plants growing throughout the gardens.
Thursday: The Canadian Canoe Museum presents “On the Map,” a behind-the-scenes look at cartography with cartographer Chris Brackey starting at 6:30 p.m. at the museum.
Friday: The 174th annual Warkworth Fair is back all weekend at the Warkworth Fairgrounds. Come out and enjoy livestock shows, live music, a pie contest and more. Visit the website for a full schedule of fair festivities.
