The concerts may be finished for another summer, but Peterborough Musicfest is hoping to keep some of the excitement going year-round.
Musicfest has launched its first off-season 50/50 draw, with monthly jackpots planned as the organization begins preparing for its milestone 40th season in 2027.
The new draws follow a successful summer for the festival’s 50/50 program.
Musicfest says ticket sales reached $120,930 during its 39th season, resulting in $60,465 in prize money for winning ticket holders.
“Our supporters made the 50/50 an incredible success this summer,” Executive Director Tracey Randall said. “We’re excited to keep that momentum going as we begin working toward a milestone 40th season.”
Musicfest is also reminding ticket buyers that three prizes from this summer remain unclaimed.
Winning tickets have yet to be claimed from the July 15 Tyler Joe Miller concert, the July 18 Julian Taylor show and the July 22 Matthew Good and His Band concert.
Anyone who purchased 50/50 tickets on those dates is being encouraged to check their numbers.
The first off-season jackpot began growing September 1, with proceeds helping Musicfest prepare for its 2027 season.
The non-profit organization presents free concerts at Del Crary Park each summer and relies on fundraising, sponsorships, grants and community support to help cover the cost of bringing performers to the Fred Anderson Stage.
