Peterborough County OPP are asking for the public’s help locating a pickup truck reported stolen from a Douro-Dummer Township residence.
Police say officers were called to a home on Douro Fourth Line at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 27.
According to investigators, the vehicle was last seen in the driveway at around 5 a.m. when a family member left for work.
The truck was discovered missing when the family member returned at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Police describe the stolen vehicle as a black 2009 GMC Sierra with a distinctive red tailgate and Ontario licence plate BL94839.
OPP are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicle or has information that could help identify those responsible for the theft to contact Peterborough County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
The investigation remains ongoing.
