United Way Peterborough & District has assembled a team of 17 community leaders to help guide its 2026-27 Community Campaign as the organization marks its 85th anniversary.
The new Community Campaign Cabinet will be led by campaign chair Tiffany Arcari and includes representatives from businesses, public organizations and other sectors across Peterborough City and County.
This year’s campaign will run under the theme “Certified Neighbours,” recognizing people who support one another and contribute to building a stronger community.
“I am incredibly grateful for this team of Certified Neighbours,” Arcari said. “Every person around that table said yes because they believe in our community, care about their neighbours, and want to help make our community stronger.”
Cabinet members include Darcy Bonner, Arti Chinchalkar, David Dickson, Coby Fewings, Sheridan Graham, Trista Greer, Johanna Hawkshaw, Greg Kidd, Evan Lyons, Laken MacFarlane, Thomas Piggott, Amanda Pinder, Paul Rellinger, Balkaran Singh Sathi, Jeannine Taylor and Scott Whiteis.
United Way CEO Jason Seguya said the group brings together a range of skills, ideas and community connections as the organization prepares for the milestone campaign.
“Each member of this Cabinet brings different ideas, skills and connections, but we are united by one ambition: to make our 85th anniversary campaign as strong and as impactful as possible,” Seguya said.
Throughout the campaign, cabinet members will connect with workplaces, community members and local leaders to build awareness and support for United Way-funded programs and initiatives across the region.
The fundraising goal for the 2026-27 campaign will be announced during the official campaign launch on Thursday, September 17.
The launch will run from noon until 2 p.m. at Healthy Planet Arena and include lunch and opportunities for community and business leaders to connect.
