The Major Series Lacrosse final is officially coming back to Peterborough for Game 6.
The Peterborough Century 21 Lakers and Peterborough Memorial Centre have announced tickets will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. for Sunday’s game against the Six Nations Chiefs.
Game 6 of the best-of-seven championship series is scheduled for Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Memorial Centre.
Peterborough guaranteed another home game with a 12-8 victory over Six Nations in Game 4 Tuesday night, tying the series at two games apiece. A season-high crowd of 3,125 watched the Lakers pick up the win.
The series winner will earn the right to host the Coquitlam Adanacs in the 2026 Mann Cup.
This marks the sixth consecutive season Peterborough and Six Nations have met in the MSL final and the 10th time since 2014. The Lakers have won four of those previous championship matchups, while the Chiefs have won five, including the last three.
Home floor has held through the first four games of this year’s series. Six Nations won Games 1 and 3 at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena, while Peterborough responded with victories in Games 2 and 4 at the Memorial Centre.
Game 5 goes Thursday at 8 p.m. in Six Nations.
A free community watch party will also be held at Quaker Square in downtown Peterborough for Thursday night’s game.

If a seventh and deciding game is needed, it will be played Tuesday, September 1 at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.
