The OPP, Durham Regional Police Service and the Trenton Joint Rescue Coordination Centre have joined forces to locate a missing 73 year old pilot named David.
He is described as 5’7″ with black grey hair and a moustache.
He took off from the Oshawa Airport Friday morning at around 8:30am, and was expected to land an hour later.
David was flying a blue and yellow single home-built aircraft, and officials say his travels usually take him south of the City of Kawartha Lakes and north of Lake Scugog, but it’s believed his last known location was around Balsam Lake.
A Hercules military aircraft is continuing to fly around the area, across the Lake Ontario shoreline, across Durham, City of Kawartha Lakes and and through Peterborough and Peterborough County.
