A 41-year-old man is facing charges after an investigation by officers with the Peterborough Police Service Drug and Intelligence Unit.
On August 5, officers spotted a man wanted on a warrant in another jurisdiction in the area of Monaghan Road and Albert Street area. Officers took the man into custody and during a search after arrest seized:
- 39 grams of Crystal methamphetamine
- 1.1 grams of Crack cocaine
- 1.1 grams of Fentanyl
- 120 various pills (opioids)
- 15 Hydromorphone pills
- 136 Dilaudid pills
- Canadian Currency
As a result of the investigation, a 41-year-old man was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Crack Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Hydromorphone
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, August 6.
