STUFF TO DO
Thursday: The Selwyn Public Library presents An Evening with Elvis featuring tribute artist Patrick Balleux at 7 p.m. The event will have a cash bar and tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Lakefield and Bridgenorth library branches. Proceeds will go towards supporting community programs offered through the library.
Friday: Explore downtown Peterborough’s live music history on a guided walking tour presented by Trent Valley Archives. Focusing on the second half of the 20th century, Mainstreet Music showcases the sites of iconic and forgotten music venues to discover how they shaped the City’s vibrant music scene and supported generations of local musicians. The 19+ tour begins at Quaker Foods City Square at 7 p.m. and runs rain or shine. Register here.
Saturday: The Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale is back in downtown Peterborough. Check out artisan vendors, patios, live music, pop-ups and more from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. George Street will be closed from Hunter to Simcoe during the event for expanded pedestrian space.
