The Peterborough Petes have signed one of their newest local prospects, announcing that 2026 third-round pick Mason Quinn has joined the organization.
Petes General Manager and Vice President of Operations Michael Oke announced the team has signed Quinn to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Quinn, a native of Little Britain, was selected by Peterborough in the third round, 59th overall, during the 2026 OHL Priority Selection.
The 2010-born forward recorded 15 goals and 10 assists for 25 points in 28 games with the Toronto Marlboros U16 team last season. He also helped the Marlboros qualify for the 2026 OHL Cup, where he added a goal in four games.
Before joining Toronto, Quinn developed with the Central Ontario Wolves organization.
“It’s an honour to sign with such a great organization,” Quinn said. “Being a hometown kid, it really means the world to me and my family to be able to join the Petes.”
Oke said the team has followed Quinn for several years and praised his work ethic, two-way ability and commitment.
