A 22-year-old Lindsay man is facing numerous charges following an investigation into a two-vehicle collision.
Police say the accused, who was driving one of the vehicles involved in the collision, attended the Peterborough Police Station on July 30, where he was arrested and charged.
The charges include operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, operation while prohibited, and racing a motor vehicle.
The accused is also facing several Highway Traffic Act charges, including failing to stop for a red light, driving while suspended, driving without a valid permit, failing to wear a seat belt and operating a vehicle without a qualified driver while holding a G1 licence.
Additional charges include having an open container of liquor in a motor vehicle under the Liquor Licence and Control Act.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 8.
