One of Peterborough’s most popular radio promotions is returning this fall, and organizers are looking for someone willing to go on the run.
96.7 WOW FM has opened applications and is giving local residents the chance to become “The Fugitive” ahead of the competition’s return.
Vice-President of Content Rob Mise says the station is once again inviting members of the community to apply for the role, marking the third consecutive year the contest has featured an application process.
Mise says the promotion has become a community favourite, bringing listeners together as they follow clues and track down the fugitive throughout Peterborough.
He adds that allowing listeners to apply for the role has added another level of excitement and engagement to the contest.
