A 34-year-old Clarington man is facing impaired driving charges after a single-vehicle golf cart collision in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
OPP responded to a trailer park on Victoria Road in Laxton Digby Longford Township at about 1 a.m. on July 26 following reports of a golf cart crash.
Police say officers arrived to find no serious injuries.
Following an investigation, the driver was arrested and charged.
The accused is charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration of 80 milligrams or more.
He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date.
