The long-running Ennismore Shamrock Festival is returning this Saturday, July 18 for a weekend of family-friendly fun at the Robert E. Young Recreation Complex.
What started as part of Canada’s Centennial celebrations in 1967 has grown into a summer staple for locals and visitors to the area.
The weekend will feature a variety of attractions including food and artisan vendors, games, a craft show, the truck and tractor pull and more.
Festival Chair Londa Junkin describes the festivities in just one word: fun.
She thanks a number of community sponsors who helped make the festival possible.
Junkin encourages the community to come out and enjoy an event for all that won’t break the bank.
