STUFF TO DO
Friday: Join tour guide Mona Wilkes for the Trent Valley Archive’s Tragic Tales Tour at Little Lake Cemetery starting at 7 p.m. Hear the true stories of Peterborough residents whose lives ended in tragedy while exploring the cemetery on this guided walking tour. Participants are asked to wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather and arrive 5 to 10 minutes early.
Friday: The Showplace Performance Centre is presenting ‘In The Key of Blue,’ A New Canadian Musical starting at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy music from Blue Rodeo and a story of dreams, love and lies. Tickets can be purchased online.
Saturday: The 2026 Ennismore Shamrock Festival is back at the Ennismore Community Centre. This long-running community festival, originally launched in 1967 as part of Canada’s Centennial celebrations, returns for a weekend of family-friendly entertainment, children’s activities and signature festival competitions.
Saturday: Toronto-based Canadian rock, folk, soul, country and Americana singer-songwriter Julian Taylor will take the Peterborough Musicfest stage in Del Crary Park at 8 p.m.
