The ‘Girls on the Green’ combined their green garb with a good cause; supporting critical capital projects at Ross Memorial Hospital.
The Dunsford Ladies League golfers raised $3,247 through their tournament on June 23. Organizer Shirley Grills visited the hospital to present the donation on Tuesday.
Since 2015, the league has supported needs across the hospital, including the expansion of the Emergency Department and creation of a Mental Health Emergency Services Unit, the new fleet of IV pumps, the Mental Health Inpatient Unit and the 3D mammography unit.
With this funding, the Ladies League’s total giving has reached $11,800, bringing the group to Provider level recognition on the RMH Foundation’s Donor Recognition Wall.
