STUFF TO DO
Tuesday: The Peterborough Downtown Business Improvement Area (DBIA) and Peterborough Tourism present another evening of Movies at the Park. “Dirty Dancing” (1987) will begin at 8:30 p.m. at Quaker Foods City Square.
Tuesday: Celebrate summer with Scottish Tea Season at Hutchison House. From 1-4 p.m., tea will be served on the terrace in the period garden, along with fresh baked scones, preserves and more. Complimentary tours of the 1840’s restored stone house are included in the price of admission, which ranges from $5-15 for children to adults.
Tuesday: Drop in to the Haliburton Public Library from 10–10:45 a.m. between June 30 and August 27 for Turtle Club, where kids will learn to identify Ontario’s eight turtle species and discover their unique traits and behaviours. Participants can also complete a Turtle Club Passport to become a Level 1 Turtle Guardian and receive discounts at participating stores.
