The Peterborough Petes have signed their 2026 first-round selection Landon Roulston to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
General Manager and Vice President of Operations Michael Oke announced the signing of the Oakville forward, who was selected 13th overall by the Petes in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection.
Roulston says joining the Petes is an exciting next step in his hockey career.
The 6-foot-2 forward spent the 2025-26 season with the Vaughan Kings U16s of the Greater Toronto Hockey League, recording 18 goals and 20 assists for 38 points in 33 games. He helped the Kings capture the GTHL Championship before adding four points in four games at the OHL Cup.
Oke says the organization was impressed with Roulston’s performance at the team’s Development Camp earlier this summer.
“Landon is a big, strong, two-way forward who loves to compete,” Oke said. “He possesses the skill and character that we look for in a Peterborough Pete.”
Roulston previously played for the Toronto Marlboros U16s during the 2024-25 season, recording 17 points in 26 games and adding two points in four OHL Cup appearances.
The Petes say Roulston will now begin preparing for his first season with the club as he continues his development in the Ontario Hockey League.
