This Saturday (July 11) heralds the return of the Lakefield, Jazz, Art and Craft Festival.
Started in 1999, the festival is a summer calendar highlight for many, as evidenced by the 1,500 or so who flocked to Isabel Morris Park last summer for the sponsor-supported event. Many of them will no doubt return for the 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. event that will see six musical acts brought to the stage starting at 11 a.m.
Festival co-chair Al Grant has been involved for many years as a member of the organizing committee. He says the festival’s setting has had much to do with the festival’s enduring success.
Grant says there’s much to explore in Lakefield for festival visitors.
Grant speaks to what he enjoys most about the festival.
Admission to the festival is $12. For more information, including the full stage lineup, visit https://www.selwyntownship.ca/explore-selwyn/festivals-and-events/lakefield-jazz-art-craft-festival/.
